The Making of "Minjee Moves The Needle"
We hope you will enjoy reliving a thrilling victory by Minjee Lee at Pine Needles, what has become an iconic venue for the Women’s Open.
Beginning tonight at 10 p.m. (Eastern), the Golf Channel will begin airing an hour long documentary about the 2022 U.S. Women’s Open, “Minjee Moves The Needle.” Here at the Fire Pit Collective we are proud to have played a part in bringing this to life, collaborating with a variety of talented contributors. Alex Upegui directed the show and had a hand in all facets of its creation. Marco Escalante and Greg Louie served as producers, working alongside and overseeing a talented team of editors that included Jonathan Meacham and Pete Leininger. Benni Wescott served as the producer in the field, with Scott Phelps acting as director of photography and Matt Straus as the camera operator. Mike Kimball handled all of the audio, while Jordan Perez and Alan Shipnuck wrote the script. The colorist was James Knott of Big Game Color and audio mixing was courtesy of Ryan Sak from the post-production company Kill the Messenger. We hope you will enjoy reliving a thrilling victory by Minjee Lee at Pine Needles, what has become an iconic venue for the Women’s Open.
